My tip..Space your mammogram and gyn 6 mo. apart, so you have 2 breast exams per year
Impeccable Me
From the time you are diagnosed, your life will never be the same, cancer will strip you of who you once were.

Dress shabby, they remember the outfit,
Dress impeccable, they remember the woman
My grandmother used to say "when you look good, you feel good". I believe that, I love to dress up, I am a girly girl, that will not change, if anything, I will work harder to look nice...cancer will not take that from me!
Cancer is a demon that will inhabit your body,
stripping you of your dignity,
forcing you to fight every day for a glimpse of who you once were.
I love shoes...a girl's gotta have shoes! you can never have enough shoes...displaying them allows you to pick just the right pair ..I took a linen closet and turned it into a shoe closet, a friends idea, my husband was a little upset until he saw that I was able to relocate the toilet paper...lol...MEN...can't live with them, you can't live with them.
I have fallen in love with the clutch..I used to be one of those girls who carried the same large purse everyday..no idea what was inside, it was heavy and I could never locate my keys. Then I discovered the clutch....oh snap! The clutch has simplified my mornings, I change my purse
just about every day to match my outfit... it gives me the finished look I love. They are inexpensive , easy to store and you can have one in every color, hmmmm I may be missing one or two colors...better go shopping, you know me, I just hate to shop lol.
Having cancer should not take away how you look at yourself, or how you feel about yourself. Don't crawl up in a ball and feel sorry for yourself...get up, put on that outfit that makes you feel good, no hair, no problem, grab that wig that makes you feel confident and happy
, or that scarf or nothing at all, whatever you feel you need for you....don't give up on you!
I am passionate about fashion..I think I get that from my grandmother..she was a model for Montgomery Wards in her early years. I remember as a child watching her put her lip stick on before going out in the back yard to hang cloths, saying "you never know who you might run into". When she walked into a room, she turned heads. She was

Did I mention my grandmother had breast cancer, she had a mastectomy.
Organize your closet, put all your skirts together, shirts together, pants together....then organize by color...enjoy picking out the perfect outfit...dress for you, love you...cancer sucks but it can't take away what makes you feel good, what gets you to carry on with your life, be you, love you..
....fuck cancer.
